Background

River Bank & Trust has grown over the years to become one of the largest community banks in Alabama, but their website was dated in functionality and design and was not mobile-responsive. Their website was a poor reflection of the level of service and technology they provide their customers seeking to open a personal or business account, wealth management, mortgage lending and more. The lesser-known services (Wealth Management and Mortgage Lending) needed to be featured more—along with the ease of new online lending options.

Reasoning

The goals of the new site were to improve brand identity, improve mobile responsiveness, simplify site architecture, and create an easy user experience while building the new site in a user-friendly CMS platform. River Bank wanted a site that not only reflected their brand that evolved but also the level of technology and services they provide their customers, as well as better showcasing and displaying their employees. Their website needed to look more modern/clean/professional to enhance their online “first impression” when people searched for them.

  • Content Management System developed with page builder features for easy content updates 

  • “Card” content blocks were created for clear/easy display and navigation

  • Cards were also a solution to showcase RBT employees with photos and contact info 

  • Consolidated navigation into tiers for hierarchy for ease of navigating through the site

  • Provided HTML and CSS to external mortgage lending site and reviewed development process
